Business groups already are not interested in buying ISL tents. IMG-R hasn't found an owner for Mumbai, Chennai and North East, Den quit Delhi at a big loss.
Many of the actual shareholders are looking for buyers and not finding one. ISL has burnt many hands but funnliy they can't pull back. This is not speculation but the truth. I have been told by people who have been approached to buy ISL stakes from current holders
At this rate , it's only a matter of time before someone shuts shop. You can't burn 30 crores/year for infinity. Only Star Sports would be laughing their way to the bank IMO. And they won't and can't share their revenue. What a fucktarding way of giving ownership of a league to the broadcaster.
I can offer ₹108 only to IMG-R for NEUnited, @namewtheld if you can let those people know please. It's a good offer and I won't be so generous by end of ISL 3
If an ISL team folds what makes you think another business group will pick up that franchise? Guess IMG-R will take a call by 5th year, to pull out or sustain.
What makes you think that another business group would not? There are examples in other Indian leagues where a team has failed and was replaced, it is not unheard of.
