Well they didnt have to spend same amount of participation fee as the other franchises in ISL..Maybe that cancels out the stadium costs..Then if the leagues do merge maybe AIFF would re-work the deal with BFC..But whatever, all that is hypothetical now..But i dont think BFC will close down ever, I-League or ISL wherever they play
BFC aren't stupid, in the latest rounds of negotiations, they have played an ace ....
They have bought a stake in the Bangalore ISL franchise, this will enable them to sit back in year one & watch...
In year 2 they will opt to participate by possibly allowing their players and staff to be merged with the ISL franchise
If they were to just sit back & wait for year 2 or 3 like some people , the risk is the valuation could jump up , as happened with IPL teams , whereby Kochi & Pune paid way over the odds for their entry and thus became unviable as a business, and both have for various differing reasons folded.
Its still a long way to go boys... The merge is not going to happen for atleast 3-4 years before the league becomes financially viable. Until then the I league is here to stay and entertain us. :P
i didnt like the colour combinations in the logo.... looks somewhat dull as the bright colour was given to the background and light one is give to the club name.... feels it could have been better
But they have had some good signings so far... hope they follow the hockey franchise from delhi and have a successful run in the league
