Exactly and hopefully the quality of the Indians will look and be better as the better Indians are signed onto ISL clubs and replace the ones that should not be there.
But the first touch should be seriously improved...Due to the poor first touch of the indian players few good moves are not materializing. And they should try to control their uncontrolable urge of un-necessary back and square passing and cocentrate more on forward throughs.
Reports have also suggested that Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand is considering a move to the ISL next season, as is Bayern Munich forward Claudio Pizarro.
one thing, i feel after 1 long ranger goal/ 1 good ranger shots they become overconfident, and then they start to shoot every chance from distance. eg. durga, dika. they should be more wise in decision making, shot selection and should know when to release the ball.
There really needs to be a hard quota for foreigners in ISL. Some teams have over 10 guys for gods sake! Rosters should be set to 25 max with 10 max being foreign.
My God. If all the above news comes true next ISL will be mouth watering. Thierry Henry, Rio ferdinand, Pizarro,......Wow. I think at this stage we do need a slightly higher number of foreigners purely from the quality of the game and commercial perspective (attendance for games) as well.
Really... more foreigners!!!! If that happens then this league is not helping Indian football at all. Look, I think the North-East and Bengaluru FC and sometimes Goa and Kolkata and sometimes even Delhi and Chennai and Kerala have proven in their histories that we can still have teams with Indians and do well at the gate.
Fine, we can bring in Pizzaro and Ferdinand (crap marquee btw and Henry is not coming) but we need to be hard on the number of foreigners allowed in the ISL.
