I was also thinking on the sames line. Disband the name dempo and play the I-League with FC Goa name but IMG will not allow i guess. Wish we can onboard DD/Chennai and KB to i-League where we dont have presence currently.

I still like my idea of incorporating "B" teams of ISL clubs in the I-League. Have FC Goa, Kerala Blasters, Chennaiyin join the I-League. This would allow them to play some Indians, test around, see who to sign for next season directly and also give some foreigners from the ISL team a runout who never got a game in the I-League.

Although I am sure there are a lot of kinks to work out with that idea I am sure it can happen in some way or another.

Zico is all set and ready to join FC Goa for the next 2 seasons. Hope the deal goes through. As per news its almost a done deal.

I am guessing this would only be for the Indian Super League and perhaps with some technical director duties with Dempo?
