U14 I-League for FIFA U17 World Cup

AIFF will launch U14 I-league for nationwide talent hunt. The salient features are:
  1. All I-league teams, second division teams, football academies and recognized football clubs will be eligible to feild teams
  2. First round on zonal basis, final round on home/away basis
  3. Network of scouts to be present in all the matches
  4. Selected pool will be trained at AIFF-FIFA academies
Quite a deal this one from the AIFF. This is going to be big. Do not expect telecast or something but either way it promises to be a festival of over 1000 kids. Doing MRI of so many participants is unfeasible. But if they don't do and later find out that the kids finally selected are majorly overage, then the whole program would turn out to be a waste of resources. How should AIFF proceed is the question
