Ranjan Bhattacharya has been appointed the coach of the Bengal Santosh Trophy team. He currently coaches George Telegraph in the CFL. Under his coaching, GT have won both the matches they have played in the CFL this season. The Santosh Trophy qualifiers of the East Zone would start in the 3rd week of September in Sikkim

Damn the TFA for standing arrogant. Neither they take care of infrastructure. Neither do they wanna do anything about football.

The Academy Boys will face Sporting Clube de Goa in the quarter-finals.

Sesa Football Academy started their campaign with a win as they secured a 2-0 win over Calangute Association in their opening match of the Goa Police Cup 2019, played at Duler Stadium, here on Friday.

In the other matches played different venues, Churchill Brothers SC outclassed Panjim Footballers by a 5-1 margin, while, Guardian Angel SC secured a hard-fought 1-0 win over Velsao SCC. In the other match played in the evening, Corps of Signals stunned Vasco SC as they registered an entertaining 3-2 win at Ella Ground.
