@ArsenalFan700 ; There is a difference. Nobody is objecting over right of IMG-Reliance to support their Cup. BCCI, Hockey India also have their IPL, HIL - a short term Franchise based league. But have you ever seen them strangulating Domestic Cricket or Hockey like Ranji Trophy? or not giving Stadiums for National Team? What efforts IMG-fraud Alliance have done to telecast India National Team Games? ZERO. Can you imagine the furore if IPL and HIL will not give any stadium for National Team Cricket and Hockey games and also will not allow Domestic Schedule as well as TV Telecast ?
India never even plays during the IPL... same with the HIL. You also got the fact that India is among the better nations (especially with cricket)... I don't know but just connect the dots and you will know what I mean.
I am certain we will see telecast for the next round. Give them a chance.
@AKB IMG-Reliances first job is to help the interests of their own competition over those other things... esspecially one in which there is a lot of money being thrown around.

IMG-Reliance have their own priority, but should AIFF also dance to their tunes at the first opportunity ? If yes..for the sake of sponsorship, then why to have a National team which has been playing poorly over last 2-3 decades ? I don't believe that we do not have talent, talent is there but the intention of AIFF is not there. Why...why....why....National team's matches are not telecast live ??? If there is a will there is always a way.We don't have that will. How many times Prafool Patel has been found in a National Team match at the stadium ?? Leave aside I-League or Fed Cup. But we can see him very very often in ISL following Nita Ambani everywhere. That is the truth...bitter for some but truth is truth. So let us not shed crocodile's tear for National team or I-League or Fed Cup. So long ISL is there enjoyyyyyy. Who cares for Indian National team ????
@Leedsonperez ; Stadium need to be FIFA/AFC recognised. One of the criteria is close distance to International Airport. Thats why Siliguri, Gangtok can be ruled out. But Trivandrum, Cochin, Calicut, Bangalore, Chennai, Goa, Guwahati, Calcutta all qualify.
We should use the conditions in our favour. Kerala provides humid weather plus huge crowd support. A cool evening in Delhi will only help foreign team.
