@munna Bagdogra is an international airport, also cool evenings during June in Delhi, if you can call 34 degrees at 9 pm cool, then it is!
I am sure ex-Reliance staffers such as Das would even get the NT disbanded if they could. Once the schedules are out, we will know for sure. If there are ISL matches during the WCQ, you know which will get televised
@EastBengalPride There will be home and away games in June but also in September, October, November when Delhi is cooler then say Kerala, Chennai, Calcutta. That weather advantage we will be missing. No way Delhi will be 34degrees in Sep/Oct/Nov evenings. Bagdogra fame to International flights is tiny tot Druk Air. For a high profile team and their supporters, we need a bigger airport with international connections and Hotels. In the past, when teams like Japan and Oman came to Calcutta, Cochin with their travelling supporters-they needed hundreds of Hotel rooms. I am talking about 2004 WCQ. Kerala, Chennai fits the bill on all counts. Humid weather plus hotels, flights etc. :P
@Leedsonperez Idea is right but the men in charge to decide the venue are WRONG. So mate...we may well find India playing their home match at any away venue so that ISL stadia remain in perfect condition for the oldies.
