Indian coach may favour his region but even SC favoured his puppets (so many of them to name here) in the national team. Indian coach might bring good number of players from I-League as he is having experience there and then the ISL fanboys will start abusing him. I don't see any Indian as coach but in the interim they might use someone from the junior setup for 4-5 months.
African teams all import their coach from colonial masters - England , France, Portugal. They do not trust their African coaches at all. Infact they dont even trust Black Coaches from Europe.

When SC started, his salary was less then that but on next Contract extension, his salary was made equal to that sum.
Some IFN member earlier pointed out that SC salary comes from Sports Ministry.
His appointment came after interview with Technical Committee headed by Baiching Bhutia where Ricki herbert was the other candidate interviewed for the post.
Next coach will also be given salary around this figure only.

last ISL game will be played on 3rd march, by next week two semis should get over and by next saturday 16th ISL should get over, whos stopping AIFF to arrange friendlies ? or where does ISL schedule comes in picture of your March. 18-26 break?
