@debarghya89 Train is better and it also depends on what time you want to leave from Delhi and reach Chandigarh. For about 240 km distance, Shatabdi. Fast Train or less fast will not make lot of difference.
I am a Moti Nandi fan. Grew up reading 'Striker', 'Stopper', 'Koni', and other novels by him. @Beautifulgame, your translation was good, and passion admirable. You may consider translating his other works also for a larger audience.
BTW, have you read 'Aparajito Ananda: Ananda Undefeated? Could not come across it in the net. Not in the bookshops as well.
Bus is also not bad. There's a Mercedes service by both Haryana and Punjab transport whose tickets are sold at ISBT counter in Chandigarh. Also, there's an ordinary bus service every 15 minutes I think.
Good to hear from all of you. Yes, then I will start translating it. But which is the thread appropriate for this purpose? Do I have to create a new thread for that? I am not very computer-savvy and will not be able to create a new thread. @Deb_Ban: Thank you. No, I have not read 'Aparajito Ananda', but did find a few scattered references on the Net ( in some articles and blogs). Some of my favourite books are Naran (top of the list), Jiban Ananto, Ferari, Kalabatir Dekha Sona, Shibar fire Asha.
