Yah what @BrainFallINDIA said I completely agree with him. Culture is the most important things in every aspect of our life and there is no exception in case of sports as well. You can't deny the fact Tevez highlighted. But I have a different point of view on Tevez allegation. People from different continent or rather from different country have different physiological formation that's why every country play different brand of football which suits their physiological formation. Like South American player generally short in stature with strong muscles. We know that the short stature people have better center of gravity and that's why they can move their body easily. And that's the reason they likes to dribble and play some eye catching football. Where in case of European country, peoples are taller and has less center of gravity that's why the play passing and lot more direct football compare to later one . So Asian countries also have some different body formation and the point is, they needs to discover which brand of football suited them according to their physiological formation. So not only culture but also science is important in any sport. That's why football is most lovable game on the planet earth. So may be Chinese player can't play like South American player in coming 50 years but they can definitely develop a new brand of football which may not be eye catching but effective in the sense.
Japan, South Korea, Iran and Saudi Arabia has played WCs for decades and except the 2002 WC where RoK reached the semis, they haven't done much in the world stages. Neither any Asian have really got the world's attention due to individual skills or match winning ability in top leagues or WCs. Tevez is right in the way he knows football.
How good is English of Carlos Tevez? what he did say originally in Spanish will mean something else in English. Maybe he meant to say something else. Many times sarcasm or exact point is lost in translation.
