Has anyone encountered bulls on the road ? How's the experience ? A week ago read about a foreigner getting killed by a random bull in india .
There are some bulls that roam around my house . One is lethargic while other one is young handsome and possess big horns . Never found them acting violent but still at unease when passing them .
Cows roam on streets of my city Kota. Every year atleast 20 deaths-mostly of two wheelers accidents. Cows bulls -they eat from trash or by food which people give and then there are fights between different cows.
In recent years, plastic ban or reduction in plastic has resulted in people throwing thrash (kachra) openly which attract lot of stray animals to eat them. GST on recyclable plastic has reduced the incentive on recycling plastic, paper, glass which is increasing trash in our cities. Present political climate in the country is such that dont say anything on cow-so called activists attack municipal workers if they come to catch stray animals. I support animal rights but cows die for lack of food, water in so called shelters of minicipalities. Big big problem.
On one end we worship cows and on the other we leave them in worst condition . The moment they start producing milk again , they are taken home .
If we want animals on our streets then we should make sure conditions are good for them or else keep them in reserved areas full of food and good conditions like Cat island of Japan .
