So, Disney has bought 21st Century Fox which includes Star India. Interestingly, Disney also owns Sony-ESPN. This means Indian Sports broadcasting is heading towards a monopoly. Also, all top leagues on one platform. PL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1 all with Star-Sony-ESPN.

The deal will needs to undergo regulatory review and will likely take at least a year to close. Lets see how it goes. It says most of 21st Century Fox.
