Its good to have higher ranking, because except few 100 guys like us nobody else in India gives a shit about how fifa ranking works, only thing they care is how high are we. !!!
Government never banned NRIs from participating, they hold Indian passports. The ones who can't represent india are PIOs and OCI card holders and Indians holding foreign passport. IFN has a few NRIs, like munna, shabier and so on, who can reprindia.our country.
