Nope. My grandfather and grandmother apparently both still have their Indian passports. They never gave it up after moving to the UK. My parents have English/US citizenship... I am a citizen of Poland.

Polish is just a joke. Born in the US, have an American passport but not an English one yet. Parents have English/American passports. Grandparents on my dads side still had/have Indian passports. Grandfather on mums side has Kenyan (not a joke).

Mind you, I am getting really into the Ekstraklasa.

They never became English citizens. My parents did as my dad was born in England and my mum's parents did change. It was my dads side that did not.
