After suffering a defeat in their first match of the 2018 FIFA World Cup/2019 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers, India will look to bounce back against a Guam side that will enter every match as the underdog. Guam, meanwhile, will be on "Cloud Nine" after they shockingly defeated Turkmenistan to begin their campaign.

For India, Stephen Constantine's men will look to build on what was a solid effort against Oman in Bangalore on Thursday. However, despite their performance, two defensive mistakes costed the Blue Tigers as they were defeated 2-1. Sunil Chhetri managed to lessen the blow for India and he will be relied on again to take down Guam. Guam currently feature guys on their roster like AJ DeLaGarza and Ryan Guy, two players who were regulars in MLS, DeLaGarza still being one. The side, coached by Gary White, managed to surprise everyone when they defeated Turkmenistan at home in their first match. Despite the match being won through an own goal, the Matao will look to once again stun the world when they host India on Tuesday.

Guam is currently ranked 176 in the FIFA rankings. Notable players include: Shawn Nicklaw, AJ DeLaGarza, Mason Grimes, and former I-League player (with United Sikkim) John Matkin.
