@deepakc brother i have a question for you, don't take it otherwise. why two different view? ISL clubs should release players 10 days before a WCQ qualifier, and I league clubs should not release players for SAFF cup. Why so much of contrast? I can understand that SAFF cup has little value, no ranking points etc but still it is the tournament we should master first, we should win first comfortably to look beyond SAFF. leave alone Asia cup qualification. Sadly we are no more SAFF super power.
God, you sound like one of those reddit snobs... of course I just compared Ramsey to Chhetri, oh how dare me.
Point is that ya, he will be playing in 3 different styles in one month, playing different roles, with different teammates, with their own skill sets as well. Chhetri is not fit to clean to boots of Ramsey but I don't think he is a stranger to situations like this.
I am more concerned with the different teammates than the role he will play.

I am saying the clubs are right innprotesting .....i also don't personally understand how players will last ISL/saff/ileague at a strech

I feel its physically impossible to ask players for so much.....if ISL was starting in Jan they would also protest about a camp....
For a WCQ/Asia cup qualifiers we are at a level that we need a week /10 days of camps before matches....whatever stage our domestic calendar....
In Kochi, it'll be Navy training. B-)
There are ranking points
I expect better from you mate...
Besides...the point is...too much football like this will lead to burn out...
I-League will suffer i suspect....or produce some unknown surprises
