Its kind of irritating to read these clickbait articles.. esp when IFN has a blog on its own and admins requesting members to post articles there, here we see external links being posted and that too with info that every member here knows.
Now you know my job on reddit. Someone keeps posting sportscafe articles on topics such as the derby (a preview) or the national team etc when a more reliable newspaper has it.
I would like to do a preview for Round 4 through the blog but I don't know how to log into Wordpress... do I need my own account? As the round starts tomorrow I might as well just do what I usually do for this round and then do a blog post for Round 5.
I am not against Srijith Gopal. The guy trying to showcase his work however insignificant it seems to many of the members here. We being very small Indian football community should support any the smallest contribution to Indian football.
I feel it is ok to have him within our group. If I feel the topic of his article is redundant, I dont click it. He can advertise his article on IFN but he cant make me read his article. So I guess other members do the same ie ignore his posts. But there are many who look at it. Let them do. I am fine with him in the group.
Also, if admins (@namewtheld) feel it will reduce the worth/popularity of the IFN Forum and blog, then we can ask him to put some kind of advertisement for IFN too on his blog in return.
My concern is that they generally never contribute more than just the one post with a link to their site. Only five of his posts don't include a full link to the blog and those really just come from the introduction thread. Promote the website but also contribute MORE to the forum by commenting.
If bloggers don't give sources credit..and divulge rumours as facts....then another major April fools prank might have to be dished out on them. .. Like the Uruguayan one
