With the present support base yes. The hope here is that market will expand. Ozone had the tough task of creating a brand identity......to rival BFC is tough for anyone in ileague in trms of brand recall and awareness amongst the urban youth
worse part is pardon me to stereotype but most BFC fans are euro converts, u get another bharat fc like performance by ozone then its curtains to them.
the fact of not able to get a team from chennai, kochi or even mallapuram just baffles me. it clearly looks like AiFF is just worried about its cut money and unburdening of management than spreading the game.
u cannot get too many corporates or small ambitious clubs who would wanna invest in such a wobbly brand.
if u cant get quality then bet on quantity. get more clubs in i-league so you can chuck out the ones you feel dont contribute.
the joker has clarified that Ozone will NOT GET Bengaluru franchise. I am not sure if Ozone is interested in any other city as their Football stadium is in Bangalore.
To be it looks like JSW has sabotaged this Ozone initiative or PP didnt get his cut from Ozone for the stadia.
BFC had that in their contract and now DSK will also have it this year. The only way Ozone can enter is via ISL, by investing in BFC itself, or by winning 2nd division.
