Nicolai Adam is not happy with the pitch, he felt even Bengali boys are behind because of these sort of pitches. He mentioned that Punjab and Goa is having better facilities (I think Nicolai Adam will be a bad coach form now onwardswhomfor Bengali media). He liked second goalkeeper and another player of IFA XI whom he did not disclose and they will have to undergo MRI scan before any decision can be made by him. One journalist asked when will he finalize his squad and team for World Cup? Adam answered that door is open and he would be a fool not to take a good talent even one month before the world cup. He mentioned further that selected boys already started jelling with each other and , undergoing certain training and nutritions. They are developing each day, so for a new talent it will be difficult to cope up if it is too late. In April this exposure trip will come to an end.
I missed initial part of Bhaichung's interview but what I could gather that there will be two world class training pitch outside Salt Lake stadium before 2017.
There we will play against teams such as Mamelodi Sundowns, SuperSport, University of Pretoria and two matches against the South Africa U-16 national team.
Tour to Germany ( 3 Months Tour started from 28 May )
On May 28, Squad will leave for Germany where with the help of the DFB (the German federation) we will have two camps, in Frankfurt and in Duisburg.
With the help of Mr Baan, India will play some matches in Holland and against clubs in Duisberg, Cologne etc.
India will also play against international sides. The plan is to play 18 games in three months, eight of which would be against national teams.
Then return to Goa for AFC U16 on August 22 and play matches against other countries most of whom would be arriving early for the tournament (September 15-October 2, 2016).
