India might have huge and growing economy, but AIFF is a poor federation, it cannot afford salary for someone like Otto Pfister.

otta is someone who can get results out of overage teams he has done it in past with African youth teams but I think he is too old for this job.

If Bangla can afford him, so can india. But yes, he is too old for a country so big as india. He would occasionaly need to cover the length and breadth of the country.

Why can't we hire some ex coaches who would have coached youth teams of Nigeria etc to World Cup glory (at least they have seen the stage and the action around the same). Provided they are available...

I think the next coach should be someone who has coached a youth team with average height and physicality of the squad similar to ours. The reason i say this is because there is very less time for a new coach to do anything so we will be best served by someone who will feel right at home and can bank upon his previous experience while coaching our side.
