Following Minerva Punjab FC colts successful tour to Goa where the were invited to play two friendly matches against India U-17 World Cup squad (whom they defeated 1-0) and India U-15 Team (whom they defeated 2-0) six more players from the Minerva U-16 team have been selected to join the U-17 World Cup team that will represent India in the U-17 World Cup to be hosted in India in 2017.

So out of nowhere 6 kids called up to the squad just 7 months before the tourney.

EDIT :- I looked up at their names. These kids have played for India before and its not like they are new to the setup.
