I agree that can actually be done in football actually instead of chasing Odafa's & Ranti's. Teams like DSK, BFC with no relegation could & should have done it and base their teams around youth.
Why they arent doing is beyond me, You have 3 solid years post which you can heavily invest if it didnt work out by the end of second season.
FC Goa have sought a meeting with chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar after they were slapped with a bill of approximately Rs 2.5 crore by the South Goa police for providing security during the Indian Super League (ISL).
These ISL jokers want everything to be available cost free( stadium, security etc) while all revenue is for the family and their cronies....hope the police double the bill
None of the ISL franchisees use stadiums or use securities for free. ..its just Goan police have charged them more than others. Besides the bill also includes the security costs of final which has been slapped on FC Goa...Although IMG-R have assured that they will pay for the final...One news showing something aginst ISL and everyone starts shouting.
All clubs have to pay for security, why the hell this is even news? EB MB pays much more to organize a derby than they would pay for a normal match. Why is this different for ISL franchises? IMO, all home match organization costs should come from respective franchises hosting it and not IMG-R. IMG-R can spend this money on better promotion, etc.
Why is it that only FC goa is facing a problem regarding this ? Kolkata and kerala have bigger stadiums...I dont see any fuss being created by other ISL teams....or is it that Goan police get paid better than rest of India
