None of them is a VP in AIFF nor is the chairman Vijay Mallaya. With a clear example set by Supreme Court in form of the BCCI case, this could actually be used to remove Dempo from AIFF.

Lodha Panel recommendations are impractical and difficult to implement. One Vote-One State recommendation is not possible. BCCI is a pre-independence organisation and the geographical map of India was very different in 1930s. In Maharashtra, CCI (Brabourne Stadium), Mumbai Cricket association (Wankhede Stadium), Maharashtra Cricket Association (Pune) and Vidharbha (Nagpur) are there. 4 associations with 4 stadiums, 4 votes and 3 teams in Ranji Trophy. Same way Gujarat State has 3 association Baroda, Gujarat and Saurashtra with Vadodara, Ahmedabad and Rajkot as centers. Lodha Panel report will disrupt the structure of BCCI with one vote one state recommendation. We also have Railways and Services with votes in BCCI and teams in Ranji Trophy. They are not any states. Lodha Panel Report should be thrown in Dust-Bin. They belong there. Government cannot interfere in any Sports Association.
Government can, cricket is not an olympic sports. ICC will be bankrupt without India. Supreme Court should implement the Lodha panel report in entirety. BCCI cannot disregard a Supreme Court verdict, Sharad Pawar or a Sourav Ganguly doesnt matter. They are just firing blanks.
