After seeing legends like Trezeguet and Del Piero flop in ISL, who were all approaching 40, I have no reason to believe 37 yr old Brasilians will do well. Age is and will keep on playing an important role in the upcoming seasons.
Talking about 4th tiers, Iain Hume(32) was playing in 4th tier England before coming to ISL, and we all saw what he is capable of. So just because a player is playing in Italian 4th tier, doesnt mean he is shit....Peluso is 31 , and has scored 20 goals in 29 apps last season, which is pretty damn good.
When a player is nearing the end of his career, its obvious there will be dip in form. That's why I find a 31 yr old 4th tier player more impressive than 38 yr old strikers or midfielders unless he is some Drogba or Robbie Keane ! Hell even Trezeguet was playing in Argentine Primera before coming to ISL. He was absolute shit.
FC Goa should sign Brasilians like these(Gui Finkler,30) , undoubtedly one of the best midfielders in A league and is from Brasil serie C and not some has been reaching the 40s.
