    How can someone mock the signing of a guy who is ONLY 30 yrs old ,who has recently captained a Hong Kong Premier League side and mostly played in Spanish 2nd and 3rd divisions , when his own home club like FC Goa have been signing
    36 yr old striker from Brasil serie D,
    36 yr old I league defender,
    36 yr old Brasilian who last played for a Qatari club way back in 2014(went home after injury)
    36 yr old goalkeepr from a beach soccer league and also from serie D,
    36 yr old ATK reject
    30 yr old CFL reject
    32 yr old I league striker (again season curtailed by injury)

    ATK - Interesting, no striker apart from Hume!! Moreover, no Indian striker yet. 

    Expect no less than a couple of foreign strikers among 4 foreign + 1 marquee slots.
    Also, I will love to see whom ATK will sign in leftover 2 Indian slot.

    With all those 36 yr olds and rejects, FC Goa managed to reach the final's of the ISL last year. That says a lot about the calibre of the other teams actually.

    In the final, Lucio, Gregory, Leo etc are old but they are still quality foreigners to have despite their age. Rafael and Dudu are 28 and 30.

    ATK have decided to retain a younger core of foreigners, epecially those who have performed well in last few seasons. Afterall thats how the league should progress. Would have loved to see Lekic and Gavilan in the side too. Personally I feel , Pearson is a better signing than the likes of Jorge Alonso and Valdo. Dani is a smilar signing like Juan Calatayud last year. As for Pablo, its pointless to judge him simply on a couple of matches in a Sunday league in Goa. The guy went on to lead a Hong Kong PL side after that, which I believe must be having higher standards than a Goa league. Definitely a better signing than say Sylvian Monseaureau from first season!
