Wow, great set of individuals here blasting their own team which btw is better than anything we have ever produced at youth level in this thread and then talking about the welfare of the game and players in other threads. Hypocrisy at its finest here.
Wouldnt say they are the best ever, But having the most exposure till date to succeed. If they qualify to the WC on their own or even come out fighting at the quarters then it will make a lot of people shut up.
Isnt it a co-incidence that people who criticise this effort (Which btw is the only good thing AIFF is giving a free hand to get the exposure) also dont like change and are happy with the current i-league model?
Before the usual suspects start jumping, By quarters meaning AFC U-16 Cup Quarters, This team has already qualified for the AFC U-16 by getting by Iran despite tonking a few opponents on the way.
I think Malaysia would lose by bigger margins against these opponents. In the Tanzania game we didn't play to our potential due to fatigue and 4pm kick-off. Tanzanians are accustomed to hot and humid conditions. Look up their location, close to equator with a long shoreline. Our team is mostly composed of N-E kids, who would definitely struggle in a hot afternoon kick-off in Goa.
Hoping for a better display tonight. Also why Nicolai is not playing Aman more?

Co-incidence or willful attention seeking?
Hope our results stay better than Malaysia so that we get to play for the 3rd spot with a game against either of USA,Tanzania or South Korea
