Not sure about now but in my time, Class 10th Board Certificate was what considered your Date of Birth. That goes while giving College Entrance, Passport form everything. While playing at U-14, you have still not passed Class 10th, so whatever your school says or if one can get Municipality certificate of Birth. Hopefully with aadhaar card, this menace will go away.
I see all this talk of ways to make sure it is real age but I guess we also have the problem of the other side... the coaches and teams who look at youth football and only want to win and will purposely select guys who are overage cause they know it gives them an advantage.
