I don't know the exact reason for that . But it happens. They will never announce the actual temperature when really it crosses 50 degree. BTW Qatar world cup is scheduled for winter. All the football league has to amend their calendar accordingly.
@shibier ; Is there any rule in Qatar or any other Gulf country that if Temperatures cross 50 degrees, they will need to declare public holidays like closing of schools ?
@munna219777 not sure about that , anyway the tough weather condition will be a real challenge for all the teams. For the spectators it wont be an issue as they got air conditioned stands.
Even if there are no expressed rules, maybe the Govt expects slowing down/ stopping business activities in such a scenario (though everything is in controlled environment). Hence the reluctance to publish officially.
