Fela included in this squad + Sehnaj singh and holicharan have played in Indian arrows for few games...these team will be the core of next Arrows squad
Thanks Archak for the link. Now we will be able to keep track of the team by ourselves, not depend on AIFF or media. BTW, as the participation news is published in The Telegraph today, I think there will be SOME coverage, at least the results (won’t that be a big improvement?).
On a serious note, I find it reassuring that AIFF is committed on providing good training to the juniors. Now I think this batch is getting the similar treatment like the present U21 group used to get. So it is a continuous affair. There will not be any dearth of technically sound footballers in future. And lastly, I have confidence on Colin Toal (though, may not like the style).
seems like a pretty good u-19 squad..some experienced arrows players are here like fela, holicharan, kamaljit, sehnaj, bikramjeet singh..also some really good players like brandon and Anto are also in this squad..bodes well for the team..this tourney is good preparation for upcoming u-19 qualifiers..wud fela be eligible to play in the qualifeirs again???
The India U-19 boys played out a 2-2 draw with Shanghai City Games in a friendly match played on Wednesday July 20 at Shanghai, China.
The U-19 colts are gearing up for the Weifang Cup scheduled to be held from August 1 to August 10 in Shandong, China.
