Three Africans, two Asians, and 1 Europen make the list as Shillong Lajong Football Club announce the signing of six foreigners, set to lead the team in the upcoming I-league season.
@DX bhai sirf SLFC ne theeka liya hai kya players develop karne ka so that ISL Clubs can take advantage of it, time has come they also need to do same or they will be keep paying transfer fee ?
They have sold their key Indian players and most of their new Indian players are 16-19 years of old and with all other i-league going with 6 foreigners they can't go without key players in key position.
We should be happy that Shillong is building a good competitive squad. People said that with BFC gone and ISL becoming a longer duration only EB & MB will be competitive in I-League.
While ISL will have combination of best Indian players and few good foreign imports. I-League will be one to watch the host of unknown talents and rejects.
Lajong recruited only within the set rules of numbers of foreigners, no? then why is this lament over lost places for Indian strikers and defenders? Where else they can put their legitimate foreign recruits? in the galleries, perhaps?
Comments
Cannot compare ISL with Lajong. I wouldn't have even flinched when EB and MB fill positions with foreigners.

Extremely impressive signing - not depending on so called "tried and failed" ones - adopted by the Kolkata Clubs!
