sorry he indeed random. Playing Local leagues doesn't make any player special. But yah we have to look the budget of the club also. The Asian Quota is one of the bullshit rule invented by AFC. I didn't find any reason that suggest anything good about it. Asian quota has been a headache for the clubs since it incorporated as a rule. Clubs should complained it to AFC.
He isn't random. We know his past. "random" players in Indian football are almost a thing of the past, at least in I-League and definitely ISL. Look at someone like Amos Omeji as a "random player" since we don't know fuck all about where he came from, where he played before, or where he plays now. Internet has nothing other than he played a few games for Air India for a couple months.
May be you are right in your own way or rather IFN member see it in this way . But I depicts random player as a player who doesn't play at the top level.This kind of player getting chances in the lower leagues of Asia( such like Maldives or Sri Lanka ) just because of AFC quota. If such rule is not there hardly any team signed him. Player like Ryuji Sueoka, Do Dong, Katsumi or Oh Joo-ho recently signed by Lajong all played their national league be it 1st tier or 2nd tier but the above mentioned never played more than a season in any club except in Maziya. And during his career he remain free agent two times. If that doesn't make him Random than that doesn't make him Regular either.
