It has to be said a longer stint abroad has helped Gurpreet a lot. And still GKs peaks around 29-33 years of age. Hopefully, in future we can see a lot more superb performances from him.
Many other younger players need to follow him and have longer stint abroad to improve their play. The NT just need 2 more good players to be very consistent team.
What i have seen from previous matches of India is that we are very sloppy in first half. Its the defense and GK that saves our shit during 1st half. During this first half SC analyze the opposition and makes the required changes accordingly in 2nd half. These changes give India an advantage and we are able to pull positive result. So no matter how much we may hate SC but we cant deny the fact that he is pulling result in India's favor.
