Can anyone tell me , do sides of kantivera stadium has sitting place or not . I have never seen people sit there . I have only seen people sit on bucket seats in front

North stands both upper and lower don't have bucket seats

those are cheaper tickets 

₹40 for upper and lower is free 

south side have half stand with no bucket seats. Rarely seen people there

Total capacity of Kanteerava  stadium is 40000. Only west upper & lower,  east upper & lower and north upper stands are used for BFC matches.ie 24000 capacity.

As it is primarily an Elliptical shaped multipurpose stadium for Athletics purpose also, some sections of the stadium are far far away from the turf, so those parts are not opened for Football matches-only for Athletics and other programs. Same thing we see in Pune Balewadi stadium also.

in pune all stands are open except ones behind screen, it is mandatory to have 1 screen
