Cooperage Football Ground, Mumbai. Pic taken today by Bikas Pal

I dont remember so many coconut trees last time I went, or is it the other opposite side from which I had taken a few pics. @nameWTHeld any comments?

anyways, cooperage had the turf ready even last year, its the galleries which were required, and this seems same as last year.

technically they can play at Cooperage even without stands. Turf is there, lights are there. and Mumbai teams get hardly 50 spectators while playing at Pune. We can place 50 chairs somehow near some coconut tree.
:P

I know that is a joke but still, in serious terms, that would not work as we would need AFC approval. Sadly knowing our luck we would pick local chairs instead of proper imported ones.

@rudra You are right. This picture shows the side opposite to the side from which we entered the Cooperage. We took pics of the side that has MU Soccer Schhol and the side directly opposite to it where the offices are there, i.e the along the longer dimension of the field. That is why you do not see coconut trees in those

Now they have even stopped making promises. No news whatsoever. what were they saying? Some Chinese company officials coming in December and stands will be complete so that I-league Games will start from March at Cooperage Stadium. FIFA never ask them what happened to the grant for turf???

Its very tiny-tot ground. Football cannot be played here. May be some children play some 5-a-side.
