BFC had a solid game plan but Owen messed today. He had Saighani who was terrible today and consistently lost the ball. Deepak Tangri or Ganesh would have been better options. Thoi Singh and Chhangte were poor and Chennai missed Schembri and Thapa in starting lineup.
BFC just marked Rafael with 2 players and managed to keep him quiet for 70 minutes though he had his moments.
BFC though aren't really special. They are very defensive and their attacking players struggle creating any chances. They have crowded their team with 4 defensive foreigners and depend a lot on Udanta, Ashique and Chhetri to create.
BFC should have finished this game with ease..Cant believe it that Semboi missed that chance..Indian strikers unfortunately take an extra touch when not needed instead of shooting..That's why Semboi could not score..nice to see him getting rewarded for his AFC goal though
Can someone help list down how many of the U17 wc or ex Arrows players are getting game time? How many are not? It's kind of like assessing their performance and seeing what the next U23 team looks like
I was at the game and Chhetri's yellow did look deliberate. He was at the touch line all the times and acting like a coach and questioning the officials. He was warned several times throughout the game.
It was legit give me a yellow card please kinda thing.
@Ronny Have a list for the U23 players who are eligible for AFC U23 qualifiers 2020 (DOB after 1st Jan 1999) . Only those who are getting game time in isl & ileague are here (Exception in case of CBs & Strikers, coz no-one there & all isl & ilgue teams prefer foreigners there) .
