i agree the poor state of MB is due to its officials.....they dont have a balance side ....odafa will not be so lethel unless u have a solid midfield.....again in this season MB ...is not concetrating on their midfield and any idea about mehtab,kalu,stephen dies.....any new transfer rumers/news about MB.

Ash's point here is that to have a competitive league you need parity between the teams. You can't have teams like JCT, Viva Kerala, HAL unearth talent and have that talent lured away to the high payers in year 2. You might say they should sign long term contracts but the reality is that they can't afford to. One way to achieve parity is to institute a salary cap (per player but more importantly per team). Almost all the U.S. leagues do this, the IPL did this. No reason why the I-League shouldn't institute it too.
