SC East Bengal have decided against signing goalkeeper Subhashish Roy Chowdhury from NorthEast United FC due to insistence on a transfer fee. The club has also opted out of the race to sign Anwar Ali.

Why a goal keeper?? Debjit is playing excellent and mirshad is also a good goal keeper. They should try to fill the gaps in defense and midfield.

In all fairness, MSC have roped in(and continue to do so) better & effective Indian players than EB. 

Many ISL bench warmers are joining MSC, but not EB.   Surprising.

Because Sankar Roy is recovering,  only 2 goalkeepers r there Debjit nd Mirshad, if any of them injure, EB hv only one goalkeeper in hand, so they need a goalkeeper immediately. I
