India U-23 without any friendlies and camps has no chance against UAE. I hope they can spring a surprise against Kyrgystan and Oman Stimac will finally have a closer look at Komal Thatal, Vikram Pratap Singh and Rohit Danu. Hopefully he realizes that these guys are better than Rahim Ali
After watching yesterdays game I realised that players lack in confidence when they do not play for long amd this shows in their level of play in a competitive game. They are usually nervy. Even a short break of 1 month causes Messi to stop scoring for 3 games. And we take a break of 7 months. Results will always show this effect. I hope before the actual competition these players actually get a feel of competitive sport and are in touch, otherwise we would be humiliated again even with his wonderful batch of players.
Am I missing something here? Buam plays for FC Goa and is loaned to Mohammedan for this season so that he gets gametime. He is is still very much in FC Goa's ganeplan. He'll still have one more year left after the loan.
Under-23 players will arrive in Bengaluru on October 17 and train till Oct 20. Teams have to arrive four days prior to the Championship and will be inside a bio-secure bubble. India will travel to UAE on Oct 21.
So we are going with just 4 days of camp? That will basically help us identify positions only lol. Our opponents are playing in WAFF U-23 where Oman has beaten Jordan and drew with Kuwait UAE lost their games https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_WAFF_U-23_Championship
The All India Football Federation (AIFF) on Wednesday announced 28 probable's, for the national team’s qualifying campaign for next year’s AFC U-23 Asian Cup.

The Blue Colts are set to assemble in Bengaluru on October 17, before leaving for the UAE on October 20 for their matches.
October 25: Oman vs India
October 28: India vs UAE
October 31: India vs Kyrgyz Republic
The probable's:
Goalkeepers: Dheeraj Singh Moirangthem, Prabhsukhan Singh Gill, Prateek Kumar Singh and Mohammad Nawaz;
Defenders: Narender Gahlot, Bikash Yumnam, Alex Saji, Hormipam Ruivah, Halen Nongtdu, Asish Rai, Sumit Rathi, Akash Mishra and Sahil Panwar.
These 4 forwards better start firing as they are the next in line privileged AIFF academy forwards for the NT. Defense looks good with Akash Mishra and Asish Rai as fullbacks..Hopefully Sumit Rathi provides a good new VB option to Stimac Suesh and Apuia should be the core of our midfield..hopeful of good stuff from Komal and Rahul
