The hero of the match, along with Cleiton, was Suvam Sen who bailed out the team on countless occasions. His positioning and anticipation are much better than that of Kamaljeet although he has problems with the aerial ball.
The defence is horrible--apart from Lalchungnunga, nobody is impressive. Ivan was good at FC Goa but he seems to be struggling this year. Time and again, he was left for dead by Krishna; Jerry helps out a lot while going forward in attack but he is inconsistent while defending. The less said of Ankit the better.
Fitness seems to be a big problem for EB this season: Suhair, Lima, Ivan and a couple of others seem to be struggling big time with fitness
Unless they change a couple of foreigners (at least) and lift their performance by several notches, I don't see them in the top six at the end of the season. All their wins have come against teams ranked lower than them
EB squad quality is worst out of all team almost comparable to NE United. Expecting them to make it to play offs is too much. Atleast next year the club needs to prepare better and early
The way he is playing right now, physically bigger players being made to dance all around him. watch yesterday's game highlights and you will see the kind of game he played..even the assists were top notch!
