Chhangte's 11 goals this season will be equal to goals scored by Sunil in the last 3 seasons in ISL 11 goals in 57 games.  I am comparing a winger with Striker which is not right. BFC's decline is very much in hand with lack of goals from their starter.

He has been degrading a lot. Apart from being an experienced squad member I don't think he should lead our squad this time. He scored only 5 goals this season and nothing great in those goals as well. His decline is obvious in the NT squad over the last 8 months as well. He somehow previously was good with NT, that is no longer the case. Hope Stimac has balls to put performing players ahead of him.

Qatar has rested 8 first team squad members a rest for the last 2 fixtures to give them rest. Coincidently they have given a lot of youngsters debut to face Afghanistan and India. Tahseen Mohammed the Indian international who impressed for Al Duhail has been selected to play for Qatar. There goes a teenager we could have easily convinced to play for India and had Indian citizenship ready.

Meanwhile, the Al Annabis have named in their squad Indian national Tahseen Mohammed, the teenage sensation who recently made headlines making his debut for Al Duhail in the Qatar Stars League, the first division of Qatar Football pyramid.

The Aspire Academy graduate has a ‘Mission Passport’ which helps him represent Qatar. Many players in the Qatar squad have acquired this passport and are representing the Gulf nation. These passports are temporary in nature and come with an expiry date. So, even though he is a legal Indian citizen and set to turn adult in June, he wanted to represent Qatar.

The left winger has played against India at U-17 level during India’s exposure tour in Qatar last year. Although the youngster has just featured for four games in the top division, Qatar FA and head coach Lopez Marquez were eager to give him a platform and make sure he doesn’t change his decision of not representing Qatar.

Indian football team finally receives GPS equipment after over 200 days; now lacks analyst & psychologist

Consequently, India played nine international matches without this crucial equipment, including three in the AFC Asian Cup 2023 and four FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers. During the AFC Asian Cup in January 2024, India were the only one of the 24 teams to play without GPS vests, putting the coaching staff at a significant disadvantage in preparing the team.An AIFF official told the Hindustan Times after the Asian Cup, “Four airlines were involved, and despite numerous letters, we have had no success in retrieving the equipment worth nearly Rs 45 lakh. We have now ordered new GPS vests.”https://khelnow.com/football/indian-football-team-gps-vest-analyts-202405
