Rahim Ali is so frustrating man. Not only does he miss good chances. He most of the attack and can't link up with anyone

This revenue model is not a new thing... AFAIK This is IPL Model revenue sharing...Franchise fee for 10 years (Initial Agreement)... Then this.

Owen Coyle is beating himself up. He did not get any of the targets he wanted this Jan. Rahim is super disappointing. Connor is played nowhere near his position as def mid. Things are going downward from here on for them unfortunately.

All foreigners were his signings. He messed up with signing 8 in Battochio instead of a defensive midfielder and then another mess up was signing Shields and Murray.

Didn't go for a better goalkeeper and Debit is not at all cut off for modern day football. He's by far the most shortest player.

This scenario could've been avoided if Chennai actually retained Julius Duker and Sliskovic. The whole squad overhaul every season isn't helping.

Yep he was going for players who he was familiar with Murray, Shields, Farukh and Rafa. Battochio was not hand picked by Coyle but yeah he botched up and was wanting other signings this Jan which he did not get. Sliskovic does not suit his style. But I think having someone like Duker who can play anywhere is underrated. Rafa though has 3 goals all of them are penalties he is too slow. He can only pick out some good passes, deliver good crosses and free kicks he is too slow for even ISL standards.

Manvir Singh , who was rated as the worst player in Asian Cup 2023 , having a tremendous game against JFC .
Makes me think , Constantine found Manvir Singh from I league when he was unknown in Indian football circuit and now we have Stimac who moans about lack of strikers but he's never in the country or at football games .
