Indian players playing in Europeo only to be selected. Make everyone to go and play in Europe irrespective of league 1 or 4 or 5. Let indian players go and learn until indian environment is condisive
and why will those clubs employ these players?
Just like GSS/SC, let every one go and try in lower  european division leagues if they are talented they will find way to good club/league and I like the idea of brining Salary cap in India which will become motivation to move abroad.

You can't force economics. Reduce wages by caps and less people will take up the sport. Basics aren't done in India. Overhaul youth coaching systems. We need CoE for coaches and specially youth coaches for various age groups. We need youth league kids to play 50-60 competitive matches every year. Overhaul referee education, need CoE for that too. Strikers will evolve naturally. Bhutia, Chhetri came up competing against foreigners only. If you make clubs play Indian CFs, you will get is a disaster. It's an organic process.

Current gen Indian players across any age aren't good enough to even attract attention in BPL forget Europe.

AIFF needs to take measures if not the whole system will collapse.  Imagine if Reliance backs out of ISL, it will be back to shit tbh it is already bad to watch.

I Understand what you are trying to say but this market is a bubble that is going to burst soon. HFC barely has money to pay drivers and cooks but has Indian NT players who are on wages amounting crores/year.

Useless agents are fooling clubs owners/sponsors who have no clue about football. Indian players are paid too much even those Syrian players in their domestic league are paid half of what our bench is paid. Money needs to go into much important things, ISL clubs dont even dominate AFC Cup so I don't see any point in them spending so much on first team

The biggest challenge is with the individual players if you watch all 3 matches. Technically, the Players are just not as good as the best in AFC. Period. Continuing to rely on Sunil Chetri, a wonderful player and career who is 39yrs old playing as a #11 and Captain, shows lack of depth. This is no disrespect to Sunil as he’s served the Country very well. If a Country is going to compete with the best in AFC then you need younger more experienced players. There is not even one Player in the Starting Eleven or on the Bench that play outside of India. There are no players playing in any top League around the World. This can only mean one thing, you’re not developing top players at the youngest ages. The default will be that the Coaching Staff and Technical Dept., and Executive Leadership is to blame. The reality is this is a long time in the making. With the current Technical level, there is a limit to what great Coaching can produce. This is the reality. India has over 100 Million Kids under the age of 6. Set a 10yr plan to develop the next Generation of Indian Players and focus on winning the AFC U16 Tournament or at least best 4. Then you qualify for the FIFA U17 World Cup, which is now going to be every year instead of every other year. This would actually be a believable goal that the Country, Media, and Brands could get behind. Anything else and you will continue to get more of the same and point fingers at the wrong people! Until Governing Bodies and Professional’s understand this, nothing will change! Develop a little army of little 6yr olds skilled at Ball Mastery before entering organized play and then watch how coachable these kids will be! Your Elite Player Pool will explode!  Football Starts at Home!

  • What a performance from Thailand....leaving india everyone doing well in this tournament. Thailand kept 3 clean sheets in which two of them came against oman and Saudis.
