    I will be highly surprised if that happens.The way AIFF is still operating I do not have high hopes.I League is going to start in October.What about the broadcasting of prestigious tournament like Fed cup which is merely 15 days away?

    Bengali News channel News Time got the regional telecast rights for Fed Cup.So for Kolkata it would be News Time.Lets see who is going to broadcast it in all over india.

    so u guys really believing something worth related to telecast news is gonna happen???with once again the regional media of kolkatta getting the right , its really unfair on the football lovers from other part of india...

    just think about it..if there was any National channel interested, why would AIFF sell the regional rights? It would not have been needed. So, basically it means, no channel is interested in it!

    but the local media may be selected in such a way that the channel is having been shown outside the state too..

    you have hitted the bulls eye somesh da. Only two channels did bid for the fed cup rights and both were regional channels. So, there was no choice. But i'm very hopefull that img will find a national broadcaster. Fingers crossed

    news time is available in dth services like airtel d2h, videocon, dish tv etc.
