Pailan Arrows never really offered much to Indian NT,it only increased the expenses of AIFF about 5 crores. Also the team is funded by Pailan so if they decide to pull out then the team is dead, with AFC criteria being strictly adhered by many MA's Pailan is proving to be a roadblock.
Also league's point of view Arrows doesn't serve much purpose, most of its fans are basically Indian NT supports(with Arrows being U-22 NT) and without fans Domestic football is nothing !
Rumors do point out that this could possibly be the last season.
