Harsha Bhogle out of job now. Fallen out of favour now with BCCI, it is unlikely that he will return to Cricket Commentary in India again. Three theories are floating around. 1)Dhoni not happy with his criticism 2) Amitabh Bachchan criticising Indian Commentators for not patriotic and aggressive enough 3) Fight with Shashank Manohar.
He is a popular presenter and AIFF should rope him in for Football. I still remember how good he was as a presenter with Star Sports for 2006 World Cup Telecast in India along with comic team of Ranvir Shorey and Vinay Pathak.
He know cricket inside out... how does that help in football commentary?? i guess he would struggle to name indian starting 11 forget about knowledge of indian football
