It went on to add that cricket associates in states which have played “historic roles” cannot be left out - Based on these contributions - we can revive EB and MB

    https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/cricket/news/sc-agrees-to-reconsider-one-state-one-vote-bcci-mandate/articleshow/63985944.cms

SC should investigate AIFF after AFC Asian Cup and bring the reforms, Work on Single league.

Good move for Cricket. One state One vote was insane. Boundaries of Sports administration are different then political or provincial borders. Lancashire Cricket Club is based at Old Trafford, Manchester while it is no more in Lancashire county.

SC should stay away from interfering in Sports Associations. We dont want Ban from FIFA or IOC.

    Yes.Few are Missing.

Defence-Jasjit Singh(Not that Significant though). But certainly good enough to be called in 55 members.

Midfield-Harjeet Singh(when he was not ready, they made him play consistently for 2 years. Now,when he is showing signs of improvement,he is not included in the team.)

Uthappa is also not there but i think he is injured so no issues w.r.t Uthappa.

Forward-Affan Yusuf,Talwinder Singh and Nikkin are missing.

I don"t know what is wrong with them, why they aren"t picking Nikkin for the main team leave aside 55 players.

Affan Yusuf and Talwinder also are certainly good enough to be picked in 55 player list.

With Harendra coming,i am eager to see what Squad he selects(Team Selection basically) and also whether or not Gurbaj can make his comeback or not for the WorldCup because Harendra Rates him very Highly so it will be intersting to see how things pan out.

This squad was announced before Harendra took over thus Gurbaj was not included. Now,it will be interesting to see how things transpire from the next Camp onwards w.r.t Gurbaj,Nikkin specifically.

Now,Lets talk about Shooting World Rankings as a Significant Development has taken place.

Indian shooter Shahzar Rizvi on Tuesday grabbed the number one spot in ISSF world rankings, riding on his silver medal-winning performance in the just-concluded World Cup in Changwon, Korea.

Rizvi has become World No. 1 In
    Men: 10m air pistol

Other Indians apart from him who are in the Top 15 of their respective categories are:-

    1)
    Men:10m air pistol: Rizvi(1st),Jitu Rai(6th),OmPrakash(12th)

    2)
Men10m air rifle rankings: Ravi Kumar 4th, Deepak Kumar 9th.

    3)
    50m rifle 3-positions: Akhil Sheoran 4th, Sanjeev Rajput 8th.

    Women:

    1)
    10m air pistol: Manu Bhaker 4th;

2)10m air rifle: Mehuli Ghosh 7th. Apurvi Chandela (11th), Anjum Moudgil (12th)

    3)50m rifle 3-positions: Anjum 8th.

So,it seems that we are generating good depth in Shooting Event as well.

Upcoming Tournament in men's hockey :

Champions Trophy at Breda Holland  starting   23 June

Asian Games in Jakarta Indonesia starting 18 August

Asian Champions Trophy at Muscat Oman starting 18 October

Men's World Cup   23 November  Bhubaneswar India

Junior Mens team can look at Sultan Johor Cup in Malaysia starting 6th October.

    Upcoming Tournament in Womens Hockey

Asian Champions Trophy   in Donghae South Korea starting 13th May

Womens world Cup  in London  starting 21st July

Asian Games in Jakarta  starting 18th August.

All this changing of Coaches will hit Womens Team hard as they will get less time to adjust with new coach.

Mens team has already screwed two tournaments Azlan shah and Commonwelath with poor team selection.Lets see what they do in future. Asian Games Gold is vital otherwise next Olympics qualification road will become cumbersome.

As per WADA, India is 6th in  world in the dubious list of Doping Violations. Earlier we used to be 3rd.

Italy topped the rankings of drug cases in 2016, accounting for 147 ADRVs, followed by France (86), United States (76), Australia (75), Belgium (73). Brazil and Iran are at joint eighth with 55 ADRVs while South Africa is at 10th with 50.
For India, Athletics has 21 offenders, expectedly followed by weightlifting and powerlifting with 14 each. Kabaddi has nine dope offenders while wrestling contributed five. Aquatics, bodybuilding, handball (university), para-athletics, taekwondo and volleyball contributed one each to make it a total count of 69.
