i could agree india were somewhere behind pakistan in hockey.... but i doubt same in cricket both countries were in same level in world cricket
thats the main reason why the quality of rivalry was at its best in cricket compared to other sports due to higher competence
If u look head to in cricket... there is big lead by pkn in odis n test is closer but in pkns favour of couple of games.. but yes in world cups india wins..
I think every sport enjoys the rivalry if in media limelight..
@Shah476 ; Pakistan-India football games were close as long as East Pakistan (Bangladesh) was there. After 1971, talent pool of East Pakistan was gone. Pakistan should concentrate on Baluchistan area where Football is number 1 sport. I am against playing European players of Pakistani heritage for National Team. No team can go forward on long-term basis just on foreigners. Homegrown talent is required. They need academies in Baluchistan, Gwadar Area which are close to Iran border and Oman.

Yes n thats because of good amount of money into india sport n ofcourse stability. We havent played at home for years..
With cricket n hockey teams playing each other.. hope football gets its turn.
