I reckon this time MB has a good mix of youth and experience. The problem with MB till last year was, it was extremely lopsided with many players in the late 20s or 30+ age bracket - and most of them didnot have the urge to put a fight; this time, the club has recruited many youngsters who are always keen to perform(as they have too much to look forward to professionally), and hence I would imagine attitudinally they would much more aligned to perform; however, the grey area remains to be the coaching staffs - am not sure whether he has the character to manage a club of MB's stature with so much pressure from the supporter , not to mention about the two jokers of the club who run the show! I understand, it was Barreto who proposed Kashyap's name(he played under him when Kashyap was the asstt coach in Mahindra) - now with all due respect to Barreto(as his intentions are always good and he desperately wants the club to get trophies and hence he wanted things to setled down), am still not sure whether Kashyap is THE man. A mere A License is not the guarantee for success - u want people who would strategise, who are in sync with modern day football and I still feel MB should go for someone from abroad. And they would - in the middle of the season and by that time the damage would already be done. the biggest problem with MB is that they dont have any pre season conditioning and therefore the players with the progress of the season become injury prone.
