To address speculation in India, ASD Cape Town can confirm that Brandon Fernandes spent 2 weeks with Sunderland earlier this year where he received an excellent Technical Report.
Brandon accompanied ASD team mate and Kenyan Senior International David Gateri.
Both players were scouted by Sunderland in Cape Town whilst playing for ASD's SAFA 2 side.
Their time at Sunderland was the week in which Sunderland changed their Management and Paulo Di Canio took over.
As a result, both players were requested to come back later in the year. Since then there has been another change of management and as such, both players have been scouted by different clubs in the interim. ASD will be making an announcement on both players imminently.
